In honor of it being August and “back to school season,” I’ve decided to do a series of videos with advice based on my personal college experience.
The best night of my life was spent at the Kendrick Lamar concert. When I found out K. Dot would be blessing our city with his presence, I immediately knew I was going. When it came to what I was going to wear though, I was unsure until two days before the concert.
If you’re like me and you rarely wear makeup, then you probably definitely don’t even consider wearing it during the blazing hot summer. I’m a person who instantly starts sweating whenever the sun hit me, even if I’m not doing any strenuous activity.
Wow, has it really been nearly a month since I last wrote a blog post?! That’s the sign of life getting crazy right before my eyes! The past month has been busy, but also a lot of fun. So what has been consuming my life this entire time?
If you know me, you know that nine times out of ten, when I’m watching TV it is a reality show. Just from reading that first sentence, you’re probably already judging me, but that’s OK. We all know that reality TV isn’t “reality.” I like to see it as scripted versions of real people’s lives.

It’s that time of year again where high school students are starting to think about life after high school. A lot of students already have their mind made up of where they would like to attend college, while many students will be visiting multiple campuses to see which one fits best for them.
I’ve always told myself that it takes a special kind of person to be able to (successfully) work in customer service. Someone who is outgoing, enjoys working with people, and most importantly, someone who has patience. In general, my personality doesn’t include any of those traits.
